Brian Jensen

Brian Jensen has had decades of singing and performing experience.  His most recent performances include appearing as the featured baritone soloist with the (California-based) Redlands Symphony throughout their 2018-2019 season, during which he sang in concert and semi-staged productions before sold-out crowds of 1,300 concert-goers.  He’s also been a featured soloist with the San Diego Festival Chorus in their presentation of Gounod’s

St. Cecilia Mass

and with the Pass Chorale in their performance of Fauré’s

Requiem

.  Brian has sung with the Music Academy of the West, Opera Santa Barbara, and Nickle City Opera (Buffalo).  With Lyric Opera of Orange County, Brian has sung Baroque operatic roles.  With Independent Opera Company of Los Angeles, he’s sung Russian and French Grand opera roles.  With Redlands Opera Theater, he’s sung roles from Mozart, Puccini, Gilbert and Sullivan, and other operettas.  Other roles in Brian’s repertoire range from the comic to the tragic, from opera to musical theater.  In addition to complete roles, he has sung in scores of scenes.  Brian received his Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in Composition from Westmont College in Santa Barbara.  He earned his Master of Arts in Music Theory from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
